The chateau's interior is decorated with luxurious antique furnishings and impressive renaissance fireplaces complemented by gorgeous parquet floors and original wood paneling. The magnificent reception rooms have floor to ceiling double aspect 15 foot high windows where sunshine flows throughout the whole day. 

The 6 suites of the Chateau are wonderfully spacious, each with its own character and décor and all fitted with super king size bed with orthopedic mattresses, down duvet comforters or micro-fiber duvet and pillows and Egyptian cotton bed linen. 

The Louis Suite 

The Louis Suite is located on the ground floor opening onto a private terrace with stunning views of the lake, rolling grounds and meadows. It is a magnificent oak paneled suite measuring 387 sq with an en-suite dressing room of 474 sq ft. This suite is furnished with a gorgeous canopied kink size bed, Henri II writing desk and mirrored armoire and sofas. Opening the double French Doors that lead to the private terrace you will soak up the afternoon sun.

The Henri Suite

The Henri Suite is located on the first floor on the south-east corner of the Chateau offering spectacular views of the lake, front and rear meadows and the surrounding forest. It is a palatial suite measuring 387 sq ft with crystal chandelier and French Toile paneling. The suite is furnished with a super king size bed, writing desk and French day bed and black and white marble floor tiles. There is an incredible French roll top bath original to the chateau in the en-suite bathroom for your relaxation. The en-suite dressing room measures 194 sq ft.

The Medici Suite

The Medici Suite is located on the first floor of the north-west corner of the chateau with views out over the 18th century chapel, front meadows and the surrounding forest. It is an elegant suite decorated with French Toile paneling and measures 270 sq ft plus an additional 107 sq ft for the en-suite. The suite is furnished with an Emperor size bed ( larger than super king), stone fireplace, writing desk and an comfortable sofa suite.

The Pompadour Suite

The Pompadour Suite is located I the middle of the East side on the first floor with views out on the front meadow and surrounding forest. The Trumeau mirror in this suite is truly magnificent. The suite has a fireplace and measures 280 sq ft with the en-suite measuring 75 sq ft. It is furnished with a super king size bed, a Louis coffee table and a comfortable sofa suite. 

The Diane Suite

The Diane Suite is on the first floor of the landing of the sweeping stone staircase. The French Toile paneling in this suite is absolutely exquisite. The suite has a stone fireplace and measures 270 sq ft and an extra 75 sq ft for the en-suite. It is furnished with a super king size four post canopy bed, a Louis coffee table and relaxing sofa suite. The en-suite has an incredibly deep French roll top bath, walk in shower and black and while marble titles.

The Proust Suite

Marcel Proust (1871-1922) famous French novelist and critic is best known as the author of "In Search of Lost Time", a monumental piece of work comprising 7 volumes and spanning some 3,200 pages and teeming with more than 2,000 characters. In his day, Proust was claimed to be the greatest novelist of the 20th century.

The Proust Suite is on the West wing of the first floor with views out on the front meadows and surrounding forest. This is our "family suite" ideally suited for small children with a live in nanny. The 2nd bedroom furnished with twin antique French Corbeille beds is accessed through an adjoining door. The main suite measures 323 sq ft with an extra 75 sq ft for the en-suite. It is furnished with a super king size bed, Louis coffee table, comfortable arm chairs and sofa.
