The main pavilion houses the spacious Great Room, which shares space with a formal dining area and the adjoining, just-remodeled gourmet kitchen, so inviting with granite countertops and a graceful arched stone wall. The main pavilion is bordered on the entire ocean side by a deep, shaded verandah which looks out to stunning down-island views and catches cool trade winds; this porch is the heart of the house, where you can relax and enjoy outdoor living and alfresco dining with inspiring views. A loggia on the opposite side of the main pavilion overlooks the enclosed courtyard, majestic palm trees, a soothing fountain, and the villa's large oval pool, which is surrounded by a stone sun terrace and accented with a polished basalt sculpture by a Seattle artist. Poolside is the large air-conditioned master bedroom pavilion, featuring a carved four-poster king bed, a dressing area, a double vanity and tiled bath, all custom finished with handsome mahogany cabinetry. A third pavilion is a two-story guest house offering three separate air-conditioned bedroom/bath suites and a smaller fifth bedroom. A traditional roofed verandah almost completely encircles this pavilion's upper level, overlooking views of Magens Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. The villa showcases custom mahogany shutters, French doors and windows with transoms illuminated with golden tropical light, is very well equipped, and is pleasingly furnished with a stylish and eclectic blend of cushioned wicker, wood pieces and a collection of original art. Large boulders and luxuriant tropical gardens provide wonderful privacy between the three pavilions, and the ocean views are nothing but fabulous.
